Metal slimes appear at the Middle Echelon of each circle. The spawn rate, however, is very low at around 5% as verified by members of our strategy team.
While the spawn rate of the Metal King Slime increases after defeating the secret boss of the game, this does not seem to affect the spawn rate of the Metal Slime

Circle of Caprice (Upper Echelon) Scouting Tips |
---|
Easier to Scout if Attack or Wisdom is Over 300 Scout rate increases if you have Overkilling Machine Restart battles by saving and loading
|
Metal Slimes have a high defense, so the success rate of scouting is very low. But in the case of Metal Slimes in the Circle of Caprice (Upper Echelon), the results showed that the scouting success rate starts to increase if you have monsters with attack or wisdom over 300.
If you don't have enough attack and wisdom stats, use skills such as Oomph or Ping.
For Metal Slimes, scouting them with an Overkilling Machine will have a higher scouting rate.
Monster | Recommended Skills and Talents |
---|---|
Overkilling Machine | ・Specially high scout rate ・Top-class attack power ・Excellent monster to use in story |
Gem Slime | ・Wisdom ranks first among all characters |
Cetacean Sorcerer | ・Learns Ping at Lv.40 ・Best wisdom increase rate |
If you want to scout a metal slime, be sure to save before the battle just like when you want to defeat it. If it runs away, you can reload the save and start over.

You can receive metal monsters such as Metal Slimes as a reward depending on the number of mini medals you collect. For metal monsters, you can get Metal Slime with 10 pieces, Liquid Metal Slime with 30 pieces, and Metal King Slime with 50 pieces.
Mini Medal Checklist: All 72 Locations and Rewards
To spawn more metal monsters, bring the Metal Slime to an area where there are no other monsters around before entering the battle. This is because if there are other monsters nearby, the number of Metal Slimes that appear will decrease as the surrounding monsters will join the Metal Slime's formation when a battle begins.
If there are other monsters near the metal monster and you can't get enough distance even after chasing them, you can start the battle after dealing with the other monsters that are in the way. When fighting other monsters, metal monsters will disappear once the battle is over. But if you move away from them and wait a few seconds, they will respawn.
