Rekindled Hope Walkthrough

1 Speak With Torstein
After gaining access to the hideout in the previous quest, Bared Fang, enter through the trapdoor and meet with Torstein.
2 Follow the Soldier
Follow the Soldier to the Bridge to Pailune
Climb out of the hideout and follow the soldier. He leads you all the way to Drakesfall Gorge in Hernandian Territory, to cross to Pailune.
3 Defeat the Commander Guarding the Beacon
Pailune Beacon Commander Location
Cross the bridge to enter the Pailune region and head northwest to the Pailune Beacon to find the commander. On the way, there are patrolling Black Bears, so be ready to fight or escape.
4
Black Bear Commander Fight
The beacon is heavily guarded by Black Bears. Clear the area and defeat the Black Bear Commander at the beacon tower. He is a tough opponent, almost like a boss, using constant teleports and AoE attacks, so be prepared for a fast-paced fight and frequent dodging.
5 Light the Beacon
Light the Beacon
After defeating the commander, go to the top of the tower and light the beacon using Blinding Flash. This completes the quest and claims the Pailune Beacon for your allies.
