The Online Showcase reveals the roadmap for the year 2025. Major updates are expected to release on May, August, October, and December, adding new features such as Ghost Play and the Memory System in addition to various improvements from in-game mechanics.

The first major update for inZOI will be on May 2025, more than a month since the release of Early Access. The update will involve adding mod kits, in-game cheats, the adoption system, and various updates to Create-a-Zoi, Build Mode, and Relationships.
Mod Kit For Maya and Blender
A Mod Kit supporting Maya and Blender is set to be released on May 2025. This will likely allow players to import 3D models made from Maya and Blender in the game.
In-Game Cheat Codes
New cheat codes will be added on May. These cheats may include modifying the numbers on your Zoi's Needs and Values, as well as changing their Traits.
Adoption System
The Adoption System is expected to come in Update #1, adding options for households to adopt family members. This will likely make it possible for any households regardless of gender to have children, and may feature adding adoption centers within cities.

The August update will bring the first DLC in the game: Kucingku, the Cat Island. In addition to this are Ghost Play, Swimming and Pools, an AI Build Mode, as well as Freelancer professions for the Zois, likely housing the biggest update of the year.
Kucingku, the Cat Island
Kucingku, the Cat Island is the game's first DLC that will be added in August. This will be a new city stated to be based on Southeast Asia, likely inspired from resorts and beaches found in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Ghost Play
The August Update is slated for the release of Ghost Play, likely introducing ghost-related mechanics such as the afterlife and ghost encounters. It was mentioned in a post in Kjun's concerns in the official Discord that the Ghost system will have a tie-in to Karma, and are planned to have ghost-exclusive tasks to increase Karma Level to reach the afterlife.
Swimming and Pools
Swimming activities and interactable pools will be added in the August update. This may include new tasks, desires, and activities for the Zois to do related to swimming.
Update #3 (October 2025)

October will hold Update #3, where the Family Tree system is stated to drop. Quality of life updates such as Hotkey Customization and Adjust Object Size for Build Mode will be included in this update as well.
Family Trees
Family Trees will be released on October 2025, likely adding new dynamics to Zois and their Family relationships. This update will possibly include features such as connecting Family Trees of two households.

Memory System will be available on Update #4, the final update for 2025. In addition to improvements in in-game mechanics, the Move Cities and Indoor Temperature features will be added as well.
Memory System
December will feature the final major update for 2025 where the Memory System is expected to be introduced. This will likely replace the placeholder Recording System as mentioned in the AMA Session, allowing Zois to recall past events and undergo changes in behavior accordingly.
Move Cities
The Move Cities feature will likely individual Zois or entire households to move from city to city. This may be relevant for the marriage system, where Zois can move in to the city they prefer after the wedding.
Indoor Temperature
Indoor Temperature will likely allow temperature within houses and rooms be independent of weather and seasons. This can allow Zois to dress freely indoors by setting the appropriate values, and will likely affect health and deaths linked to temperatures.
