Weathers in inZOI

Weather can be set to either sunny, cloudy, rainy, or snowy. Head to the Edit City menu and navigate to the weather tab to select the preferred weather for the area.

Note that manually changing the weather affects the entire city.

Toggle Weather Intensity

Click on the knob next to the current weather section to adjust the weather's intensity. Changing the intensity affects the city's temperature, and high intensities of rain and snow can change the city's landscape.

Seasons affect the city-wide temperature over a long period of time in inZOI. In summer, days will have higher temperatures while winter will have lower temperatures during the season.

Temperature changes when adjusting the weather is related to the current season. Setting the weather to snowy during winter will yield lower temperatures in comparison to making it snow during summer.

Each Season Lasts 7 In-Game Days

Upon our testing, each season lasts for 7 in-game days in inZOI. At the default day length of 96 minutes per day, players will experience new seasons every 672 minutes or 11 hours and 12 minutes in real time at x1 game speed.

Changing the Weather is Temporary

Changing the weather is temporary and will revert to the default seasonal weather and temperature after one in-game hour. This can allow snowy days during summer and vice versa, giving players the freedom to dress their Zoi regardless of season.

Temperature Affects Zoi Clothing

Zoi clothing will reflect the current city temperature. Zois will tend to wear thicker clothes during colder days and wear less layers on warmer temperatures.

Weather and Seasons Affect Zois and Their Interactions

If a Zoi wears clothing not attuned to the current temperature—such as underdressing in winter or overdressing in summer—the Zoi may fall ill and will need a First Aid Kit to recover. It is recommended to assign clothing presets and wear them according to the weather, season, and temperature of the city.
