Kucingku Cat Island DLC Release Date

Likely Released on August 2025

According to the roadmap released in the Online Showcase, the Kucingku Cat Island DLC will likely be available on Update #2 set to release on August 2025. Note that this release date is not final as plans may change depending on player feedback.

Additionally, this DLC will be available for free during the early access version. All future DLCs and updates in the early access can be acquired with no additional costs as mentioned in the Online Showcase.

What is Kucingku Cat Island?

New City Based on Southeast Asia

Kucingku Cat Island is a city described by the developers to be based on Southeast Asia (SEA). As the preview seemingly features palm trees and an open sea, this city will likely be based on famous beaches found in SEA countries!

Interestingly, Kucingku directly translates to "My Cat" in Indonesian and Malay. This may hint that Kucingku Cat Island will be largely based on Indonesian, Malaysian, and Singaporean coasts and beaches.

Previously Known as Cahaya From the Character Studio Demo

Kucingku is likely Cahaya as seen from the Character Studio Demo. Cahaya is described as a city inspired by Indonesian vacation resorts and its description mentions that "interacting with cats can be found anywhere on the island is also one of Cahaya's indispensable charms".

The Early Access version confirms that Cahaya has been renamed to Kucingku as both cities are located in the same geographic location on the global map screen where you select the cities to move in your Zoi.
