April 15, 2025 Hotfix
- Patch Date: April 15th, 2025 at 10:00 (UTC)
- Game Version: 20250414.2252.W
Version 0.1.5 of the Hotfix was released on April 15th, 2025 at 10:00 (UTC) to add new improvements and bug fixes to the game.
Gameplay Updates
- Improvements of Build Mode default camera and addition of free camera. Free camera allows players to use the WASD keys to control the camera.
- Improved In-game character appearance: Light shadow casting update. 3 new shadow options have been added in the Graphics settings, allowing players to apply realistic shadows to Zois and furniture. Enabling this option may impact performance.
- Fixed an issue preventing players from resuming gameplay. This is caused by the Esc key failing to exit Map Mode as intended, causing corrupted save files.
- Improved so that a Zoi’s lifespan is changed each time the game is resumed, preventing repeated deaths at the same age.
- Fixed an issue where Zois would not die in fires immediately or were unable to use stairs and fire extinguishers during fire incidents. *Fixed an issue where certain objects were missing after reverting to a default lot
- ixed an issue where locked doors and windows could not be replaced after adjusting platform height on apartment lots.
Ambition Goal Updates
- Resolved an issue where certain goals in the “Notorious Villain” ambition were not completing.
- Fixed an issue where certain goals (Partners in Love, Nation’s Sweetheart) in the “Pursuit of Love” ambition were not being counted correctly.
- Fixed an issue where certain goals (Philanthropist) in the community contribution ambition were not properly counted.
- Corrected the lot price display text for the “Financial Success” ambition.
Career and Interaction
- Fixed an issue where the third rank of non-interactive (rabbit hole) careers could not be reached.
- Removed the Karma Requirement for Animal Feeding Interactions. This allows players to interact and feed animals at any time.
- Fixed an issue where conversation interactions were unavailable while Zois were riding a vehicle.
UI/UX
- Improved sorting so that player-created households are now displayed at the top of the family list.
- Fixed an issue where Zois became unresponsive, and the UI failed to display during furniture crafting interactions.
- Corrected the mismatch between UI display and actual behavior for vertical camera movement in default camera mode.
- Fixed an issue where the mouse hover function behaves abnormally after using certain features within the Canvas upload pop-up.
Canvas
- Fixed an issue where accessories created using the 3D Printing feature could not be uploaded to Canvas.

Crash Fixes
- Fixed an issue where crashes could occur intermittently under specific conditions.
- Added a crash warning popup for Intel 13th and 14th generation CPUs.

Smart Zoi Hardware System Requirements Has Been Revealed
A news article on the official website posted on March 26, 2025 has revealed the hardware system requirements to enable the Smart Zoi technology in inZOI!
The minimum system requirements to enable Smart Zoi is similar to the game's minimum specs. However, it requires a more powerful graphics card: a Nvidia RTX 3060 (8 GB VRAM).

Development Roadmap for 2025 Shown in the Online Showcase
The 2025 development roadmap was revealed in the Online Showcase last March 19, 2025. It details all upcoming future updates and improvements that will be released from May to December 2025.
All DLCs Are Free During Early Access
Any DLCs and updates made during Early Access will be available for all players without additional transactions. Players can purchase the game once and enjoy all upcoming features for free!
Kucingku Cat Island DLC Revealed!
The first DLC revealed in the Online Showcase is a new city called Kucingku. This is a cat island inspired by Southeast Asian cities and will be released on August 2025 as part of the free update.
