inZOI - How to Move Houses

You can move your current household to a new house through the Edit City feature or through marriage in inZOI. Check this page out to learn the different ways on how to move houses, and what happens when you relocate!

Move to a New House Using Edit City

Relocate to a New House

Open up the Edit City (shortcut key: M) feature and click on a house you want to move to. This will bring up a drop down menu with the option to Relocate Here. If there's an existing family residing in the target house, they will be automatically relocated when you move in.

Move Other Households Using Edit City

Relocate Other Households

With Edit City, you can even move other households to another house. Select an existing household on the map and press the Relocate button on the right side. You can then select a house to move them into from the map.

Move In Together After Marriage

When one of your Zois get married, a window will pop up right after giving you the option to move to a new house with the married couple and even splitting the household.

What Happens When You Relocate?

Bring or Store Your Furniture

Bring or Store Your Furniture

When you move to another house with your current household, you will be given an option to bring and store all your furniture with you to the new house or sell them for money.

Purchase Furniture, Building, and Property

You'll also have the option to purchase the furniture along with the building and property, just the building and property, or just the property. In Early Access, you'll only have the option to buy the furniture with both.

Existing Households Move Out of City

Relocate an Existing Family

If you move into a house with a residing family, they will automatically relocate. As of Early Access, this means they will move out of the city will not have a home there.
