Zois can go to jail if they commit a crime and get arrested by a police officer in inZOI. See what happens when you go to jail, if jail breakout is possible, and all activities that can land you in jail in this guide.
A Zoi can go to jail and be under police custody for 24 hours when arrested. When in jail, Zois will only have access to a bed, sink, mirror, toilet, and a vending machine and is unable to leave until their jail time is up.
After the police custody ends, a notification will popup informing the player that the Zoi is now able to leave the jail. They will be released automatically at 9AM if their jail time is over, or may be controlled to leave the jail manually.
Unlike in the early playtest builds, jails in the Early Access are now an in-game location instead of a rabbit hole.
Before, Zois would enter the jail and interactions with them is disabled until released. Now, players can experience the prisoner life through their Zois!
Early Access Release Date and Time
The Online Showcase revealed that jail breakout is possible when imprisoned. The method for this is currently unknown.
Everything We Learned from the Online Showcase
Harassing and fighting Zois in public will eventually get the attention of the police who will admonish the Zoi. If you attack the police officer, they will arrest you and bring you to jail.
According to the Developer Insights video from Gamescom 2024, a Zoi can be arrested if rumors spread about their theft. This is more likely to happen if another Zoi witnesses the theft and spreads rumors about it among the community.
Using Extort on a Police Officer leads to an arrest. Note that Extort is only available for Zois at the Bad Karma Level.
