Update Your Graphics Driver

Make sure to update your graphics driver to the latest driver version before booting up inZOI. This will fix any errors that you may come across when starting the game for the first time such as the Out of Video Memory error and crashes.

Recommended Nvidia Video Card Drivers

The Version 0.1.2 Hotfix Details post on the official inZOI website has shared a list of recommended graphics driver versions for each of the Nvidia RTX series of video cards.

You can check the current version of your Nvidia graphics card driver by opening Nvidia Control Panel. Press Help and click System Information to find the driver version below the Details column.

Use the Money Cheat If Needed

If you want to skip the grind of making money in inZOI, you can use the Money Cheat button located in the Psycat's Guide menu.

Open up Psycat's Guide and click on the "Use Money Cheat" button to instantly give you 100,000 Meow.

There's no way to change how much money you get, but you can keep using the money cheat button to get more Meow.

Learn the Game's Controls

If you are coming from The Sims games, you may notice that the hotkeys for pause and play and camera movement are different.

In particular, inZOI uses two movement controls for Zois. Use the WASD and Shift keys to directly control the active Zoi. Use the Left-Mouse Click button for the click and go movement used in The Sims games.

Open City Map, click on Manage Zois, then head to the Manage Family tab and select Move Zois Between Families. Note that changing family members will not affect their surnames.

Your house in inZOI becomes dirty over time so have your Zoi take the time to clean to avoid the dirt build and to increase their Housework skill.

Make sure to also purchase a washing machine in your home as the Zoi's clothes also get dirty.

Increase or Decrease Karma to Unlock More Interactions

Your Zoi can have good or bad Karma depending on the actions they choose when interacting with other Zois or objects. Actions that increase Karma have a blue circle next to their names while bad Karma actions have a red circle.

Check Your Zoi's Schedule to Plan Events

Your Zois have a set schedule planned in the Schedule screen that you can edit to make new events.

Click on the Smartphone icon or press the M key to bring up the Smartphone screen and click the Events app.

From there you can see your Zoi's schedule for each week and you can click on the empty blocks to make a new event. Use this feature to create dates, parties, and weddings.

Choose a City to Live In

You have two cities that you can choose your Zoi to live in. Dowon, a Korea inspired city or Bliss Bay, a city based on Southern California.

Select either one of these cities and choose a house that your Zoi can afford with their starting Assets to move in.

Instruct Zois to Eat the Food They Cooked

A quirk may happen with Zois wherein they will not autonomously eat the food that they cooked after making them. They may autonomously smell the food after cooking but will wander off and not eat it.

Make sure to override any autonomous action after and instruct them to eat the food to replenish their Hunger meter.
