Based on the apartments video above, it appears that there are multiple types of apartments, ranging from small buildings to complete high rise towers.

Apartments Can Have Up to 30 Floors

Insights from Developers

On the official inZOI Discord, the developers mentioned setting a maximum cap of 30 floors per building.

It was mentioned on a Developer Insights video that developers ran into optimization issues when creating extremely tall buildings. This is most likely the reason why a 30 floor cap was put into place.

While there is a cap in place, 30 floors is still a considerable amount compared to similar games like The Sims 4, which have a lower cap of 8 floors per building.
