Karma can increase or decrease when performing Karma interactions in inZOI. See the details on the Karma System and all the Karma Actions that can be done solo, when interacting with other Zois, and performed through the phone in here!
List of Contents

Karma Actions influence a Zoi's Karma Level, increasing or decreasing depending on their action taken. Good Karma Actions marked with a blue symbol will increase the Karma Level, and Bad Karma Actions marked red will decrease the Karma Level instead.
Reaching certain levels opens the option to intervene, giving the ability to either reward the Zoi via a compliment or give them a chance for redemption via scolding.

A City with the Karma Status at Caution means a large population of the Zois have their Karma Level at Poor or lower. To resolve this, head to the Karma Status in Soul Management Report and use Intervene on Zois at the Terrible Karma Level.
If the status persists, players may need to control the Zois with Poor or Bad Karma Level and raise their Karma by performing Good Karma Actions. Otherwise, players may purchase a Neutral Donut in the Meow Store to reset a Zoi's Karma back to Normal.
| Compliment Effects | Scold Effects |
|---|---|
| • Lottery Win • Daily Fortune • Family Health |
• Provides an opportunity to restore Karma |
Intervene can be used when a Zoi reaches certain Karma levels. Using compliment rewards a Zoi with any of the three effects, while scolding presents an opportunity for redemption to raise their Karma level.
Note that Intervene can only be done once every 24 in-game hours.
Scolding becomes available when a Zoi reaches the Terrible Karma level. Upon use, the Zoi's Karma will reset back to Normal level.

Complimenting can be accessed when a Zoi reaches the Best Karma level. Upon use, a text message from the Anonymous Supporter will appear on the Zoi's phone. Reply with any of the three options to receive its corresponding reward.

Under the Manage Zois tab in City Edit, open the Karma Report menu to access the Soul Management Report. This report allows players to oversee the Karma of the entire city and monitor the Karma of individual Zois.
Additionally, Intervene may be performed in the Karma Status tab in the Soul Management Report, and the Souls tab lists the Zois who recently passed away.

When a Zoi with a Karma Level at Poor and below dies, choosing continue will bring up a message from Nyx detailing that the Zoi has unfinished business. Nyx will inform that a Bad Zoi turned ghost will need to reach the Good Karma Level before reaching the afterlife.
The Ghost Play button is currently disabled, but the Development Roadmap for 2025 shows that the feature will come on Update #2 set to release on August.
