Zois can resign in the Smartphone and get fired by accumulating 3 unexcused absences or reaching the retirement age in inZOI. See how to resign, how to get fired, and if you can keep your previous position in here.

Resign in Smartphone Career App

Resign

To resign from the Zoi's current job, open the Smartphone and open the Career App at the bottom of the screen. Head to My Career in the app and press the lowermost icon on the left to Resign from the job.

A message will appear immediately afterwards notifying the Zoi of their termination.

Smartphone Features and How to Use

Can Reapply for Previous Position

After a Zoi resigns, they can reapply for their previous position provided there is a vacancy. Note that when resigning, the progress towards promotion and accumulated work days will reset.

How to Get Fired

Have 3 Unexcused Absences

Unexcused Absence Limit

The company will fire the Zoi if they accumulate 3 unexcused absences. A message will be sent to the Zoi's Smartphone regarding their termination due to absences they accrued.

Zois can still reapply for their position when terminated if a vacancy is present, but will lose all progress and work days in the process.

Reach the Mandatory Retirement Age

Eligibility Criteria

A Zoi will become unemployed once they exceed the recommended age group of the job. Zois will retire once they reach the Senior age group for most jobs, while Idol Trainees retire once they become an Adult.

Eligibility Criteria Location

Players can check the retirement age of a job by pressing the Eligibility Criteria in the Smartphone. Head to the Career App, navigate to Recruitment, and press the top right button to see a list of the recommended age groups for each job.
