You can use your Smartphone to apply for jobs in inZOI. Learn how to get a job and the types of jobs that you can apply for in the game!

How to Get a Job in inZOI
Open Your Smartphone
To start looking for a job, click the Smartphone icon next to your Zoi's portrait at the bottom of the screen or press [P] on your keyboard to open your Smartphone.

Choose a Job in the Career App
Open the Career app to explore jobs from different companies and industries. You can also choose between Full-Time or Part-Time positions.

Some Jobs Differ From City to City
Note that some jobs are only available in certain cities, which you select when moving in a new Zoi. For example, Dowon offers Idol Trainee and Firefighter jobs, while Bliss Bay offers Gangster and Athlete positions.
Click Apply and Wait for a Text
Click Apply for your desired job, and you’ll receive a text confirming your application status within a few minutes.
Manage Your Job on Your Smartphone
You can track your job progress in the My Career tab of the Career app, as well as adjust your work schedule in the Schedule app. Be careful, as making your work days shorter will likely cause you not to get promoted.
How to Go to Work in inZOI
Click the Calendar Icon Below Their Portrait When It's Time to Work
If a Zoi's Autonomy is enabled, they will automatically go to work at the scheduled time, regardless of the job type. Otherwise, click the Calendar icon below their portrait at the bottom of the screen when it's time for work.
Active Jobs Require You to Go to the Workplace and Perform Tasks
For Active Jobs, Zois must go to the workplace and complete tasks within a given time. If Autonomy is enabled, they will do this automatically. Without Autonomy, you must interact with the environment to perform tasks.
Zois Go to Work and Disappear in Rabbit Hole Jobs
In Rabbit Hole Jobs, Zois take a taxi to work and disappear until they clock out. You can identify a Rabbit Hole Job by the Briefcase icon in the Career app and next to the Zoi's icon in the Family List when they're at work.
How to Change Jobs in inZOI
Apply for a Job Under Recruitment
If you want to switch professions, you'll simply need to click on the Recruitment tab under Career and select the new career you want to apply for. This will automatically resign you from your old job and change to your new one.

How to Get Promoted in inZOI
Consistently Show Up to Work
As for non-active jobs, you'll simply need to turn up at your workplace in order to get promoted. Over time, your career bar will fill up and you'll get promoted to the next position.
How to Change Jobs in inZOI
Apply for a Job Under Recruitment
If you want to switch professions, you'll simply need to click on the Recruitment tab under Career and select the new career you want to apply for. This will automatically resign you from your old job and change to your new one.
How to Resign and Get Fired in inZOI
Click on Resign on the Left Side
If you want to leave your job and become unemployed, you can click on resign on the left side of the My Career tab. Once that's done, you'll officially leave your work and you'll now be unemployed.
Incur More than 3 Unexcused Absences
You can get fired from your job if you made more than 3 unexcused absences. If that happens, you will receive a Termination of Employee text message from the company afterwards to notify you that you have been fired due to frequent absences.
Reach the Mandatory Retirement Age
All jobs require your Zoi to undergo a mandatory retirement once they reach a certain age. For most jobs, reaching the Senior age forces them to go on a mandatory retirement and will receive a farewell announcement message on their Smartphone.
Check the Eligibity Criteria on the Career app on the Smartphone to see all the age groups that can apply for the job.
Age Up to Adult If You Are an Idol Trainee
The Idol Trainee requires Young Adult Zois to undergo a mandatory retirement as soon as they age up to Adult. Once they receive the birthday notification, they will receive the farewell announcement text message from Adam Entertainment on their Smartphone.
Are There Freelancer Jobs?
Will be Added on May 2025
The Online Showcase livestream revealed that freelancer jobs will be added as a free update on May 2025, two months after the release of Early Access. A Discord AMA previously mentioned adding freelance jobs, like being an Author, and will likely be added as part of the free update.
