Fish can be caught, sold, and cooked in inZOI. Learn how to catch fish, see where to fish, what fish can be caught, and how to cook or sell them.
What to Do With Fish
Sell Fish for Money
Any fish caught by a Zoi can be sold for money by using the Sell Secondhand action. This can generate some extra cash to use for purchases and other tasks.
Best Ways to Make Meow (Money)
Open A Flea Market Stall to Sell Secondhand
Selling Secondhand for any item (fish included) requires the purchase of a Second Hand Sale Stall from the Flea Market Items tab in Build Mode.
To sell, place an object on the stall surface and tag it with the Sell Secondhand action. The object should sell automatically over time.
Make Fish Fillet
Alternatively, some fish can be turned into the Fish Fillet item using the Fillet Fish action on a caught fish.
To fillet a fish, simply hold the fish in hand, either upon catching it or removing it from the Zoi's bag, then select it and click on Fillet Fish.
The fish should turn into one or more Fish Fillet items in the Zoi's bag.
Make Sushi With Fish Fillet
If a Zoi's Cooking Skill is at Level 3 or higher, they can use Fish Fillet in their bag as a cooking ingredient to produce Flatfish Sushi, an edible meal.
Flatfish Sushi can restore a Zoi's hunger when eaten.
How to Get Fish
Go Fishing at a Fishing Spot
Catching fish is as simple as going to a fishing spot and using the Catch Fish action. There are several fishing spots in each playable city, and Zois can fish there as much as they please.
Fishing Spots are indicated by a small cooler bag sitting near the water. Interacting with the bag will bring up Fishing Actions.
No Need to Buy a Fishing Rod
Fishing does not require specific equipment, nor does it use any specific skill. The results are mainly random.
Zois may catch other items than fish, including garbage and Biko Dolls. Fishing up garbage (or getting no catch at all) can cause a Zoi to be Annoyed.
Fishing With Advanced Bait Might Help
Though fishing results are randomized, using the advanced bait action may improve the chance for a large catch.

These spots in each of the cities will facilitate Fishing activity. They are open every day at any time.

These are the fish that we encountered in our testing. Not all fish will produce Fish Fillet, and can only be discarded or sold.
