The Player Rank - Gundam UC Engage

Gundam UC Engage has many game modes locked behind Player Ranks. To unlock them as soon as possible, read our guide below for tips on how to farm Player Rank EXP and get it up fast.

How to Raise Your Player Rank Fast

The Player Rank - Gundam UC Engage

Like many other gacha games, Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage has a lot of content hidden behind the Player Rank system. The higher your player rank, the more game modes you unlock like Upgrade Quests, Event Mode, Coop Battles, etc. That's why it's often a good idea to get to Player Rank 40 as soon as possible just so you can unlock all the other game modes and earn more resources.

The grind doesn't stop at Rank 40, however. The level of your mobile suits and your maximum Custom Level are tied to your player rank, so if you max it out, you will be able to get their level to the highest possible in-game.

So if you want to raise and eventually max out your player rank, here are a few options you should definitely consider.

Do Fragment Quests

Fragment Quests - Gundam UCE

Regardless on whether you're a new player or a long-time veteran, playing Fragment Quests and farming mobile suit blueprints and character pieces from them is your top priority. But this method also gives you player rank EXP, making it perfect for those itching to set up their Haro Coin farms while also wanting to max out their rank.

Participate in Events

Combat Power Augmentation Operation - Gundam UCE

If you've already unlocked events, participating in them is one of the best ways to farm the EXP needed to raise your player rank. Events, especially the Combat Power Augmentation Operation event, can be finished fast while giving out valuable upgrade materials and other rewards.

3. Play Coop Battle

Get Modules from Cooperative Quests - Gundam UC Engage

Coop Battle, unlocked at Player Rank 20, is one of the more efficient ways to farm Player EXP because of how many times you can do it compared to other modes (which may or may not burn through your AP quickly). When you join an ongoing Coop Battle, you will only consume 1 BP, out of 100 in reserve.

Coop Battles are also the primary way to get Modules in Gundam UCE, which you can use to strengthen your mobile suits and exchange for Unit Enhancement Points.

Just like with AP, you'll want to use up as much of BP as you can each day. The more battles you participate in, the more Player Rank EXP you will earn.

4. Clear the Story Mode

Story Mode - Gundam UCE

The Story Mode can still be a good way to farm Player Rank EXP even if you've already reached Player Rank 40. It's also a good way to earn Diamonds, so see if you still have Eras to complete in Story Mode and clear them.

Use Up As Much AP As You Can Each Day

Using Up AP - Gundam UCE

Using up your AP is one of the two fastest ways of farming Player Rank EXP, and there are many ways to do it. You can clear Story Mode missions, use it on events, or play fragment missions. The last one is rather important.

When you are trying to use up your AP, try your best to complete all 3 attempts for Fragment Quests that give you blueprints for UR-rarity mobile suits. You will learn why later on in this article.

Use Up All Your BP on Coop Battles

Coop Battles - Gundam UCE

If you need to reach max Player Rank as fast as you can, the best and most efficient way to do it is to keep fighting Coop Battles. It gives consistent Player EXP while giving modules as a bonus.

However, even if it's the best method for Player Rank EXP rank farming, there are some caveats. First, Coop Battles are some of the longest fights you can end up fighting in Gundam UCE, so you will have to sit through an entire battle and do it over and over again just to rank up.

So, it may be the best in terms of efficiency, but it can also get rather tedious for some players.

Should You Rush to Get Max Player Rank?

Focus on Setting Up Haro Coin Farms First

Player Rank 30 - Gundam UC Engage

Once you've hit Player Rank 40-50, you will have unlocked all the game modes behind the game's Player Rank gates, and from here on in there's no great rush for you to raise your player rank (unless you want to catch up to the top players of the Arena as soon as possible).

Instead of focusing on raising your Player Rank, focus on grinding the game's Fragment Quests, especially for mobile suit blueprints. That's because once you gather enough blueprints, you can get a copy of that unit for free and eventually raise their Potential Unleashed level.

Once that level reaches Level 5, however, those fragments become Haro Coins, a valuable currency in Gundam UCE. If you are farming blueprints for UR-rarity mobile suits, they'll turn into Rainbow Haro Coins, which are used to raise a mobile suit's Transcendence Level - making it one of the most valuable currencies in the game.

If You're an Experienced Player, Get to Max Player Rank

If you already have more than a few Rainbow Haro Coin farms set up and the only thing capping the power of your mobile suits is their level cap, you will want to raise your player rank to the maximum level as soon as possible. Not only does this allow you to level up your mobile suits, but it also turns extra EXP into Grand Coins.
