What is the Best Sazabi - Gundam UC Engage

Gundam U.C. Engage has many variants of the famous Sazabi that you can acquire and use for your team. Read on to learn which of these variants is actually the best by learning what they do in battle.

What is the Best Sazabi?

Sazabi [THE LIFE-SIZED v Gundam STATUE]

The Yellow Sazabi isn't only the best version of the Sazabi in-game. It's also the best bruiser in the game and one of the best DPS units in Gundam UC Engage.

It boasts extremely high beam damage thanks to the many beam damage buffs it receives, and it can deliver those attacks with pinpoint accuracy thanks to the Bullseye buff it grants itself for the first 18 seconds of combat. It has a very good arsenal of weapons with one for each range(Far, Mid, and Near). It's also equipped with an EX skill that bypasses enemy DEF while granting it even more beam damage. Finally, it benefits from having an increased damage cap, allowing it to deal ridiculously high amounts of damage.

What makes the Yellow Sazabi a great bruiser is its 66% life steal. Paired with its high-damage attacks, it'll keep restoring its health for 2/3 of all the damage it deals. A powerhouse of a unit that's hard to stop once it gets going.

Sazabi (Purple)

The Purple Sazabi is also a very potent unit, though it performs worse than its yellow counterpart.

It's very similar to the Yellow Sazabi in the sense that they're both high DPS units with lots of beam damage buffs, Bullseye for the first 18 seconds of combat, and a damage cap increase of 200,000. However, what makes it inferior is its lack of survivability given that it doesn't have the Yellow Sazabi's life-stealing capabilities. Compared to its counterpart, the Purple Sazabi's weapons are inferior, and its EX skill doesn't bypass DEF.

In exchange, the Purple Sazabi is an excellent stunner, stunning for a short duration with each attack, and a full 8 seconds with its EX skill.

Overall, the Purple Sazabi is still a powerhouse of a unit, offering slightly less damage than the Yellow Sazabi but with the same pinpoint accuracy thanks to the Bullseye status effect. The biggest thing holding it back, however, is its utter lack of any defensive skills, among a few other issues.

Sazabi (Blue)

While the other two are top-tier units for PvP, the original Sazabi isn't quite as good in that regard, given its lack of defenses other than a small evasion buff and how its biggest beam damage buff requires it to evade to get stacks. It also doesn't start battles with 50% of its EX gauge already filled, which is bad for a game mode ultra-focused on the early game.

For PvE, however, it is a very good unit mainly because of its EX skill, which deals a good amount of damage, makes the target take 60% more beam damage, and increases the damage of all Blue-type allies by 26%. This is huge in PvE given that most PvE content consists of just 1 type. This makes it more likely for you to add multiple Blue-type MSs to your team for content where you're pitted against a full Red-type team. In these cases, the Sazabi will end up buffing multiple allies and not just 1 or 2.
