When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Stefan are +Spd and -Res. Stefan's base 49 Spd, raised to 53 with a superboon, is among the fastest in the game. He will need the Spd investment in order to maintain his Spd edge against all the fast metagame foes.
Res is Stefan's least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane.

This build aims at making Stefan a mixed phase unit typical of the standard fast Sword Infantry archetype. Brutal Tempest and Harrowing Call combo to have Stefan initiate and then retreat further than he normally would.

Stefan is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Stefan's exclusive Vague Katti grants neutralizes foe's bonuses during combat
and Special cooldown reduction to himself and allies at the start of both player and enemy phase. The Special cooldown reduction can even reach up to -2 if the unit's Special cooldown count is at its maximum value, granting great acceleration that is difficult to outsource!
In combat, Vague Katti grants Stefan up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14, up to +25 bonus true damage, true damage reduction equal to 20% of his Spd, true damage reduction on Specials equal to 20% of his Spd, and a 【Potent Follow 100%】 effect if Stefan wins a modified Spd check.
Vague Katti also grants Stefan Special cooldown reduction after combat, up to -2 if his Special cooldown count is at its maximum value. With his base kit's Gust, Vague Katti will pre-charge it at the end of every combat!
Stefan is yet another fast Sword Infantry unit in a game filled with multiple options for this exact archetype.
It may be difficult to find room for Stefan on any of your team compositions.
