| What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Bouncin' Ball grants Atk/Spd+6, 【Neutralize Unit's Penalties】, and 【Hexblade】 to Nino and nearby allies at the start of each turn, grants Nino bonus Atk/Spd, bonus true damage, 50% DR piercing, and a Desperation effect during combat. ・Black Fang Bond grants 【Canto (2)】, 【Distant Swap】 after Canto, grants 【Movement +1】 and a Special jumping effect to Nino, inflicts Spd/Res-7 and 【Exposure】 onto multiple foes, 【Undefended】 on closest foes, and grants Nino Atk/Spd+5 and +7 damage during combat. |
|
Might: 14 Range: 2 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6, "neutralizes penalties on unit during combat," and 【Hexblade】 to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd = 20% of unit's Spd at start of combat + 6, unit deals +X x 5 damage (max 25; excluding area-of-effect Specials; X = number of 【Bonus】 effects active on unit, excluding stat bonuses + number of 【Penalty】 effects active on foe, excluding stat penalties), and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and also, if unit initiates combat, unit can make a follow-up attack before foe's next attack. |
|
Cooldown Count = 3 If unit's HP ≥ 70% when Special triggers, boosts damage by 60% of foe's Res. If unit's HP < 70% when Special triggers, boosts damage by 40% of foe's Res and restores 30% of unit's maximum HP. |
|
If unit's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat or unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+7 to unit during combat, and also, if unit's Spd > foe's Spd, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat. If unit's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat and unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants an additional Atk/Spd+3 to unit during combat. |
|
Inflicts Spd/Res-4 on foe, inflicts additional penalty on foe's Spd/Res = number of 【Bonus】 effects on foe, excluding stat bonuses (max 4), neutralizes foe's bonuses to Spd/Res, and reduces damage from foe's attacks by 7 during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and also, if unit's Special is ready or triggered before or during this combat, deals +15 damage during combat (except when dealing damage with area-of-effect Specials), and when unit deals damage to foe during combat, restores 7 HP to unit. |
|
Enables 【Canto (2)】. When Canto triggeres enables unit to use 【Distant Swap】 on ally (this effect is not treated as an Assist skill; if similar effects are active, this effect does not trigger). At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants "unit can move 1 extra space" to unit (that turn only; does not stack), and also, if Special cooldown count is at its maximum value, grants Special cooldown count-2 to unit; if Special cooldown count is at its maximum value -1, grants Special cooldown count-1 to unit. At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, inflicts Spd/Res-7, 【Exposure】, and 【Undefended】 on closest foes through their next actions, and inflicts Spd/Res-7 and 【Exposure】 on foes within 2 spaces of those foes through their next actions. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+5 to unit and unit deals +7 damage during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials). |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Summer Nino are +Spd and -Def. Spd is a superboon and boosts Nino's Spd from base 48 to base 52, allowing her to outspeed a majority of the metagame. Investing into Spd is the best option in order to maximize Nino's offensive potential.
Summer Nino's Def is her least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane as it won't impact any of her matchups.
We recommend +Spd when merging Summer Nino up to +10 to ensure she remains competitive against fully invested speedy units.

Summer Nino's base kit is already good enough to function as an offensive unit. Emblem Lyn Ring allows her to attack safely from a distance, but isn't completely necessary.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Summer Nino is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Summer Nino's exclusive weapon Bouncin' Ball grants Atk/Spd+6, 【Neutralize Unit's Penalties】, and 【Hexblade】 to Nino and nearby allies at the start of each turn.
In combat, Bouncin' Ball grants Nino bonus Atk/Spd equal to 6 + 20% of her Spd, up to +25 bonus true damage, a 50% damage reduction piercing effect, and a Desperation effect if she initiates combat.
Bouncin' Ball buffs Nino and her allies with offensive bonuses while also giving Nino multiple offensive effects that she needs to burst down her foes.
List of Bonus and Penalty Status Effects
Summer Nino's exclusive C skill Black Fang Bond grants her 【Canto (2)】 and allows her to use 【Distant Swap】 on an ally during Canto.
At the start of each turn, Black Fang Bond grants Nino 【Movement +1】 and a Special cooldown skipping effect, pre-charging her Special by up to -2.
Black Fang Bond also inflicts Spd/Res-7, 【Exposure】, and 【Undefended】 onto the closest foes to Nino, and Spd/Res-7 and 【Exposure】 onto foes within 2 spaces of the closest foes at the start of each turn. This effect is applied from any distance, allowing Nino to cripple her foes from anywhere on the map.
Black Fang Bond also grants Nino Atk/Spd+5 and +7 bonus true damage per attack during combat, further enhancing her offensive prowess.
Black Fang Bond's Spd/Res-7, 【Exposure】, and 【Undefended】 debuffs are applied at the start of turn, allowing units like Freyr and Attuned Micaiah to cleanse them off at the start of each phase.
With cleansing effects being very common in today's metagame, Summer Nino's supportive capabilities will often be hindered when these foes are present on the enemy team.
