Bound Hero Battle - Veronica & Embla Strategy

Use Player Phase Units!

Tanking strategies involving Savior, while usually effective against AI content, aren't effective here due to Embla's Severance shutting down Save skills.

Instead, we recommend using player phase units with extra actions to take advantage of the weak bulk of both Legendary Veronica and Embla to immediately defeat them on the first turn.

Using player phase units with multiple actions, usually through Galeforce or the use of Duo/Harmonized Skills, you can clear most, if not the entire map on the very first turn.

If unable to clear the entire map, you can leave either the Green or the Blue Bat alive; just keep in mind the extra movement gained from their transformation in order to remain out of range.

Turn 2 has four reinforcements. Among these reinforcements, the Red Manakete has the least mobility - defeat all the other units instead. If unable to defeat all but one, prioritize the Troubadour as she has Flash+ to prevent your units from counterattacking.

Turns 3 and 4 only have two reinforcements each. If you manage to stay alive until turn 3, you have effectively won the map and just need to go through the motions.

This map has no trenches, allowing your offensive cavalry units to approach the enemies on the first turn.

Be careful though, as the colored Bats (and Embla) all gain extra movement upon transformation. Both Embla and the Green Bat on turn 1 have Beast Agility 3, allowing transformation without restrictions.

Use Save Tanks if you have Elimine!

If you have Elimine, a tanking strategy with Savior units is possible. Utilize Elimine's Staff of the Saint to inflict 【False Start】 onto Embla and prevent Severance from inflicting 【Undefended】 and 【Feud】 onto your units.

Ensure that you position Elimine properly every turn; predict where Embla will end her turn and place Elimine on the same column to inflict 【False Start】 again on the following turn.

The biggest obstacles when running this strategy are Elimine's positioning and the Troubadour on turn two. Defeat her quickly to prevent Flash+ from triggering on your team.

Ninja Lyn	Colorless Dagger Flying Tailwind Shuriken's brave effect can quickly defeat enemies. Duo Skill grants herself an additional action.
Brave Chrom	Lance Cavalry A Fate Changed! allows a Reposition effect while granting another action to himself and copying any bonuses on target ally.
Fallen Dimitri	Lance Infantry Murderous Lion prevents counterattacks and grants Canto to allow post-combat mobility. Inheriting Flashing Blade 4 and Ninja Yari+ from a Ninja Navarre combat manual along with Galeforce allows multiple actions.

[Savior Tank Units]

Brave Hector	Lance Armored The king of blue tank units. Can counterattack at a distance, deny enemy follow-ups, and have his own follow-up attack.
Ascended Idunn	Blue Breath Armored A Brave Hector that attacks with magic damage and has higher base stats.
Ascended Fjorm	Axe Armored Can heal post-combat with Nifl's Bite and mitigate damage with Ice Mirror and Hardy Fighter 3. Nifl's Bite allows a counterattack against sweep effects.
Legendary Tiki (Young)	Blue Breath Armored Deals magic damage and can protect allies using With Everyone II. Divine Mist deals effective damage against dragon foes.

Brave Lucina	Lance Infantry Grants bonus stats and Special acceleration to nearby allies. Can double as an offensive unit with refined Geirskögul dealing effective damage against dragon foes.
Corrin (M)	Sword Infantry Grants bonus stats to his Ally Support during combat.
Summer Hilda	Staff Flying Grants Atk+6 and Special acceleration to nearby allies during combat.
