When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Grand Hero Battle, Sedgar will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Sedgar are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Sedgar to prevent follow-up attacks and help him make follow-up attacks on his own. This boosts both his offensive and survivability capabilities. With his mediocre Res stat, it is ideal for his bane stat.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Sedgar to 10. At this point, he will have great Spd levels that allows him to score follow-up attacks even on faster foes!

This offensive build uses premium offensive skills to have Sedgar deal the most damage possible. Emblem Marth Ring is used to speed up Curved Shot, as refined Howling Bow doesn't have an accelerated Special trigger.

This is a budget build using skills from Divine Codes to improve Sedgar's offenses. While he won't deal much to tanks with this build, he will be serviceable against everything else.

His relatively low defenses don't help with this weakness too! Make sure that you have a plan of escape or survival whenever initiating with Sedgar.

We recommend using Sedgar for pre-inheritance to acquire multiple rarer tier 4 skills from premium fodder units instead.
Sedgar is a Hero who, for a limited time, can be obtained through completing a Grand Hero Battle for the first time. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.
