Summer Laevatein is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Gains bonuses if she receives Rally or Hone effects

Summer Laevatein's weapon, the Buoyboard+ grants her +4 Atk/Res if bonuses are active on her. These stats work well with her as she is primarily a Res tank that can also dish-out decent amounts of damage. She works well with units such as L!Azura who can both provide buffs and refresh her actions simultaneously. This also means that she benefits more from being in all-flying teams as those team compositions would likely have multiple buffs online such as Hone Fliers.

Gains huge buffs to her Atk and Res stats

Summer Laevatein has the powerful A skill Mirror Impact, which will grant her Atk+6 and Res+10 when she initiates combat. This skill, combined with the effects of her weapon and Odd Atk Wave 3 bring the total buffs gained in these stats to Atk+16 and Res+14 in odd-numbered turns, allowing her to deal massive damage to foes while being able to tank damage from magic attackers.
