You can start Off the Record (Biological) by completing all the requirements listed above and then interacting with the Mission Control board in the Administrative District.
Do note that while you've completed all the unlock requirements for this Basic Mission, it is possible that it may not show up on the Mission Control board since the missions are random. You can reroll missions by hopping in and out of the Mission Control board.
Additionally, this quest may unlock earlier than Chapter 13 (Act 1) in some cases.
Previously Unlocks After Chapter 3
In the original version of the game, this quest became available after completing Chapter 3: Builders of a Legacy.
However, in the Definitive Edition, where Field Skill Level requirements have been removed, Off the Record (Biological) now unlocks after completing Chapter 13 (Act 1): Cause and Effect instead.

| 1 |  Head over to the BLADE Concourse terminal and accept the request to initiate the mission. ▶ Chapter 13 (Act 1): Cause and Effect |
| 2 |  This mission is centered around solving riddles, with no quest markers or navigation assistance. The first riddle reads: "In chalky grove, midst gems of jade, a starving beast awaits the blade." Your objective is to take down the Tyrant Andrea, the Famished Hunter in Sylvalum. Travel to FN Site 402 and move northward to find and defeat Andrea. ▶ How to Fast Travel |
| 3 |  The second riddle states: "In the court of the forest gods, a brood of sentinels here do flock." This means you need to locate Sentinel's Nest in Noctilum. Use fast travel to reach FN Site 206, then fly to the marked area with a Skell equipped with a Flight Module. |
| 4 |  The third riddle says: "Etchings of ancient beasts to find? Seek a stony shore in fired climes." Head to FN Site 515 in Cauldros and collect 6 Savage Sketches from the floating crystals If needed, you can also check FN Site 514 for more crystals. To farm them efficiently, switch between both sites when one runs out. |

He only appears at night, so make sure to check your in-game time before heading over. Speak to him to complete the mission. |
Where to Find Andrea, the Famished Hunter
Find Andrea, the Famished Hunter Near FN Site 402
Andrea, the Famished Hunter is a Tyrant that appears near FN Site 402 in Sylvalum.
Head north from there to find her. If you’ve defeated Andrea before, you’ll need to do so again for this mission.

Where to Get Savage Sketches
Gather Savage Sketches Around Cauldros Waters
Savage Sketches are found inside floating crystals around Cauldros Waters. Fast travel to FN Site 515 in Cauldros and gather 6 Savage Sketches from the floating crystals. If necessary, check FN Site 514 as well.
A good method is to switch between both locations to ensure you have enough.
Sentinel's Nest Location
East of FN Site 206 in Noctilum
Sentinel's Nest is located near FN Site 206 in Noctilum.
From there, head east and fly using a Skell equipped with a Flight Module to reach the elevated area where Sentinel's Nest is located.
Solan Location (Biological)
Located Inside Outfitters Test Hangar
Solan can be found inside the Outfitters Test Hangar in the Industrial District of New LA.
He only appears at night, so set your in-game clock accordingly before heading there.
