Carats can be obtained by completing various missions in the game. Finishing all Daily Missions can grant you 30 Carats at most.
Sometimes, there will be a Special Missions that will become available for you to accomplish. These missions tend to be time-limited but it can reward you with more Carats compared to Daily Missions.

Each time you reach a higher class, you will be rewarded with Carats. The highest is Class 6, where you can get 1500 Carats upon first promotion.
Team Trials follow a tally event that announces who among the players will be promoted, demoted, and who have retained their positions in the Classes. Retaining your spot in Class 6 will reward you with 250 Carats whenever a tally event occurs.

Participating in Career Modes can accumulate a certain amount of Event Points depending on the ongoing Story Event. Reaching a certain amount allows you unlock a few rewards, including Carats.
Allowing your Trainee to race in Career Modes during such seasons is a valuable method in earning more Carats.

Carats are obtainable by joining racing events, such as Legend Races or Champion Meetings. Participating alone can reward you with Carats, but it is possible to gain more by winning the races.

Reading the Main Story episodes is one way to farm for Carats. Each episode cointains 30 Carats. You can skip each episode and still get rewarded with Carats if you do not want to read through the stories.
You can also read through Event Stories and receive Carats in return. Take note that Event Stories are time-limited and will no longer be available once this ends.

Another method that you can consider for farming Carats is by raising your Archive Level. Initially, each level consists of 50 Carats but this amount will increase the further you level up.
| Archive Level | 1 to 99 | 100 | 101 to 199 | 200 | Total |

Joining a Club is another way to earn Carats. This primarily depends on the Club's Monthly Ranking, which is accummulated through the amount of Fans that all of the members can earn. The highest Club Ranking is SS, which will reward the Club with 3000 Carats.

The best way to use Carats is by using them on Scouting alone. It is not recommended to use Carats to replenish your Daily Races, as they will be available again the following day.
If it is your intention to save up for more Carats, it's best to limit how much you can Scout. It's better to pull for more Support Cards since they are essential in making your Trainees stronger,
| Ways to Use Carats | Recommendation Level |
|---|---|
| Scouting Support Cards | ★★★★★ |
| Scouting Trainees | ★★★☆☆ |
| Activity Points | ★★☆☆☆ |
| Career Scenario Mode | ★☆☆☆☆ |

| Times Pulled | Carats |
|---|---|
| 1x Scout | 150 |
| 10x Scout | 1500 |
The best way to use your Carats is by scouting Support Cards. It is advisable to have plenty of Carats prepared for this, such as 15,000 Carats or more. Having a sufficient amount of Carats can let you draw duplicate Support Cards.
Depending on whose Support Cards you've pulled for, their duplicates are essential to maximize their Uncap Grade. It is recommended to pull for a 10x Scout as this will guarantee an SR drop.

| Times Pulled | Carats |
|---|---|
| 1x Scout | 150 |
| 10x Scout | 1500 |
Scouting for Trainees can let you pull for a character whom you can train in Career Modes. You can prioritize pulling for your favorite character, especially if you want to enjoy their voices and costumes by setting them on the home screen.
Just like scouting for Support Cards, it is also recommended to pull for a 10x Scout as this will guarantee an SR drop.

Replenishing TP, RP, and Daily Tickets can be done in expense of Carats. However, since they are recovered over a certain amount of time, it is recommended to wait for the cooldown period to finish rather than spending Carats over them.

Failing a racing goal while training can opt you to use an Alarm Clock for another try. However, if you're out of Alarm Clocks, you can spend 10 Carats instead. However, it's recommended to spend your 10 Carats on restoring TP so you can participate in more Career Mode Races.
