The game has been crashing, followed by an error code: 0x887A0005 for many Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 players. Read on to learn all about the error and how to fix it!

Many players started to experience the game crashing while they are in game or while queuing followed by an error code: 0x887A0005 which says the application has unexpectedly stopped working. This problem mainly affects PC users and cannot be resolved by basic methods like restarting your computer.

Right click on the application, then select Run as administrator. Doing so will allow the application to have access to restricted parts of the system. Even though it brings potential dangers, sometimes it's necessary for programs to work properly.
