Guijarro Ground War Strategies

Use a Sniper Rifle to Defend the Plaza

The intersection is usually crawling with hostile personnel trying to capture the plaza which houses Control Point D. You can go prone by the Terrace area, as shown on the interactive map above, and snipe all enemies that are attacking the target point.

Travel Through the Outskirts of the Map

On the eastern side of the map, you will come across 'East Alley'. This is a safe route to pass as there are no control points within the vicinity of the area, meaning you would meet less resistance as you travel all the way up north to the Scrapyard.

You can use this to position yourself somewhere safe so that your squadmates would be able to respawn at your location, which you can then wreak havoc behind enemy lines.

You can turn the tide of the match using this strategy as you can make your way to control points beyond the foothold of your team's area.

Avoid Main Street

Main street is the ground zero of the map as it's plagued with tanks, snipers, and countless enemy personnel. The reason is that this area offers the shortest route to get to all control points, hence all players would be competing to gain control of the aforementioned location.

Should you decide to pass here, try not to stay on the middle of the street, instead you can make use of the surrounding buildings such as the Mercado square (to the east)or the Theatre (to the west).
