Low Blocks with Low Blast Resistance are easily destroyed by weak explosions like Ghast Fireballs. |

Opaque This block is completely opaque and will not allow light to pass through. Most mobs can spawn on top of opaque blocks with a few exemptions. |
| Flammability |
Not Flammable Though you can place fire on top or around this block. The block itself will never catch fire. |
| Piston Interaction |
Pushed and Pulled by Pistons This block can both be pulled and pushed by Pistons, Sticky Pistons, and Sticky Blocks, like Honey Blocks and Slime Blocks. |
How to Mine Clay

To mine Clay, you need to have the Silk Touch Enchantment on the appropriate tool. Mining this block without Silk Touch will result in the block being completely destroyed or dropping its constituent items.

Turn Mud into Clay
With the 1.19 Update, you can now obtain Clay with Mud. You'll just need to place Mud on top of a block that has a Dripstone underneath. After a few seconds, the Mud will turn into Clay.
Found in Several Locations
Underwater
Clay is commonly found underwater, usually at the bottom of Oceans, Swamps, and Rivers. Small patches of Clay can also sometimes be found on the shores of beaches.
Lush Caves
You'll often find large patches of clay surrounding ponds in Lush Caves. These are great areas for gathering Clay due to their abundance here.
Mason House
Clay can be found in the houses of Masons in Villages. These would be the homes that contain Stonecutters. You shouldn't rely on these areas for gathering Clay, however, due to the small amounts found here.

You can break Clay down into 4 Clay Balls, which can then be used to craft Bricks.
Place Under Note Block to Create Flute Sounds
Clay can be used to produce Flute sounds with a Note Block. This helps give variety to your instrumentals.
