Zoglin Locations and Spawning Mechanics

Lead Hoglins Outside the Nether

Hoglin Transform to Zoglin

Exit the Nether while keeping a Hoglin leashed using Lead. As you return to the Overworld or End world, there's a high chance that the Hoglin will be zombified and turn into a Zoglin.

Spawn in Overworld or End

Aside from exiting the Nether with a leashed Hoglin, players can spawn a Hoglin manually through the console command screen and it will transform accordingly.

Additionally, players can also spawn Zoglins in Creative Mode using its Mob Egg.

How to Beat Zoglins

Strike as You Move Backwards

Attacking a Zoglin

It's best to keep your distance at all times!

Zoglins that have your attention will come at you head on. As long as you strike as you move backwards, the Zoglin won't be able to touch the player.

Zoglin Behavior

Aggressive to Most Mobs

Hostile Zoglin

Zoglins are hostile towards most mobs it encounters, and will charge from one mob to the next upon killing their targets.

Additionally, nearby Zoglins will hound players that attack their kind, much like their Nether counterpart.

Passive Towards Select Mobs

Despite its hostility, Zoglins remain passive towards fellow Zoglins, Hoglins, Zombified Piglins, Creepers, and Ghasts.

Shares Characteristics of Undead Mobs

Being an Undead mob, Zoglins take damage from Potions of Healing, as well as extra damage against weapons with Smite Enchantment.

In addition, Zoglins cannot be poisoned and will not gain health from regeneration.
