Some weapons in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater (MGS3 Remake) let you switch between different firing modes for different situations. This guide explains how firing modes work, why they matter, and how to use them effectively.

How To Change Firing Mode

Open the Weapon Window

Firing Mode
Press and hold the control button for the Weapon Window. Equip a gun with available firing modes.

Press the Control Button while the Weapon Window is Open

Switching Firing Mode Controls

Press Triangle Button
Xbox
Press Y Button
PC Press V

With the Weapon Window open, press the control button for your platform to cycle through the available firing modes available. These can toggle between Full Auto, Semi-Auto, or Burst Fire, depending on the weapon.
