The monkeys are numbered to show the fastest collection route you can take for this level.

Astro Bot Location

Disguised As a Monkey Behind a Tree

Astro Bot Location
Astro Bot is located in the northern area of the map. He disguises himself as one of the monkeys and hides behind a tree.

Do note that the disguised Astro Bot does not count towards the level's required number of monkeys. You can skip it in the interest of time, especially if you're gunning for a high score.

Don't Worry About Falling Off the Cliff

Monkey on Cliff
When capturing the monkey near the cliff’s edge, you don’t need to worry about rolling or walking too close to the edge, as an invisible wall will prevent you from falling.

Shoot the Monkeys on the Tree From the Top of the Hill

Monkey on Branch
Monkey on Treetop

There are two monkeys on the same tree. One is on the treetop and the other is hanging from a branch. The easiest way to shoot them is from the top of the hill, where you’ll be closer to their position.
