How to Get Fake Death Pill

Available from the Start

You are given 10 Fake Death Pills at the start of Virtuous Mission and Operation Snake Eater. You can find them in your inventory along with the Revival Pill.

Fake Death Pill Effect

Lets You Pretend to be Dead

When the Fake Death Pill is consumed, it puts you in a temporary state of suspended animation, making it appear as if you're dead and fooling enemies into ignoring you. The Game Over screen will then appear.

Despite this, you can open your Equipment while in the Game Over screen to use a Revival Pill to revive yourself. Pressing Continue during the Game Over screen will load you back to your last save as if you'd actually died in the game.
