The Boss is the final boss of Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater (MGS3 Remake). Read on to learn how to beat The Boss in Rokovoj Bereg, including tips for getting a non-lethal boss kill, missable collectibles you can get in her arena, and rewards for beating her.

★ Avoid equipping a weapon when grappled. |
Wear Snow Camo and Face Paint
The fight against the Boss takes place in a field of white flowers. With that, make sure to equip the Snow Camouflage and put on Snow Face Paint to blend in with the flowers and maximize your camo index.
Parry the Boss' CQC Moves
The Boss will sometimes run up and try to CQC grab you. If successful, she’ll shoot you with her Patriot Machinegun while you're on the ground (often leading to a serious injury).
Counter this by performing a parry after she grabs you. The timing will be after she stops your arm, immediately hit CQC. You'll know you got it right if you get a mini slow-mo sequence after hitting the CQC button.
Don't Equip a Weapon When Grappled
Avoid equipping a weapon if you see Boss charging you. If she catches you holding one, she’ll disarm you and throw both the weapon and ammo to the ground.
Use the Mosin Nagant to Get an Easy Non-Lethal Kill
If you don't like dealing with CQC and the parry timings, the next best strategy is to skirt the edges of the arena. Use your Mosin Nagant to get easy headshots on the boss, quickly draining her stamina even at higher difficulties.
Eventually, she will just charge you, but getting the stamina damage in is pretty easy and avoiding her by sticking to the edge of the arena ensures you lessen the likelihood of her spamming her CQC on you.

You can approach this fight however you like, thanks to the open arena. Use the Mosin Nagant or Mk22 if you're aiming for non-lethal kill, or go with the M37 and SVD if you want to kill the Boss.
The Boss Rewards
Snake Camouflage
Defeating The Boss non-lethally will reward you with the Snake Camo. When equipped, it provides a high camo index regardless of the environment.
How to Get Snake Camo and Effect
The Patriot
Defeating the Boss will also unlock her signature weapon - The Patriot for you to use in NG+ and New Game playthroughs. This gun has infinite ammo and doesn't need to reload, making it the ultimate gun for players doing collectible runs in NG+ (since you can just kill everyone).
