How to CQC Grab Enemies

Grabbing enemies in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater (MGS3 Remake) involves getting into close proximity with an enemy and then holding the CQC button. Learn how to perform grabs and what follow-up actions you can perform after a CQC grab.

When you're just a step or two away from an enemy, hold the CQC button to grab them. You can restrain enemies regardless of the direction they're facing, even if they've just spotted you. This grab is the initial step for executing various CQC maneuvers.

Note: Keep your finger away from the Left Stick if you plan to only CQC Grab an enemy. If you add any directional input, the CQC Grab turns into a Throw which instantly knocks out an enemy.

(Non-lethal)		 Press a weapon against an enemy to coerce them for information.
Throw
(Non-lethal)		 Throw down an enemy to knock them out.
Choke
(Non-lethal or Lethal)		 Chokehold an enemy to incapacitate or kill them.
Kill
(Lethal)		 Slit an enemy's throat with a knife or fork.
Shield
(Lethal)		 Use an enemy as a human shield to protect you against gun attacks.
