| Clear the game without killing anyone. |
To earn the PEACE WALKER trophy, you must complete the game without killing any human enemies, which includes both regular soldiers and bosses. This means your in-game Humans Killed count must be zero.
For instance, you must avoid killing Volgin during the Shagohod Phase 2 fight and anyone during the entire sidecar escape sequence after beating him. You can achieve this by only using the MK22 for the sidecar fight to avoid accidentally killing any enemy soldiers.
Animal and Indirect Kills Do Not Count as Kills
Killing crocodiles, snakes, other wildlife, and even dogs is completely safe when going for the PEACE WALKER trophy as the game only tracks human kills.
Deaths from environmental hazards or explosions, such as a barrel or an environmental trap, are not counted as kills. Additionally, enemies who accidentally fall from a height after being tranquilized, like those who fall after you destroy a bridge (like in Dolinovodno) will not add towards your record.
How to Check Your Kill Count
Check the Records and Title Section
To check your kill count during a playthrough, pause the game and head to the Records and Titles menu. In the Records (Now) tab, you’ll find the Humans Killed stat, which tracks the number of enemies you’ve killed so far.
