How to Equip a Suppressor
Access Weapon via the Weapon Window and Press Attach Button

To equip a suppressor, select the weapon you want to equip it with via the Weapon Window and then press the Attach/Detach button. Similarly, you can unequip it using the same method. You'll notice the weapon's icon on the window changes to show if a suppressor is equipped.
Different Weapons Have Their Own Suppressors

Each weapon has its own compatible suppressor. Suppressors are tagged to show which weapon they're for. For example, SP/MK22 is for the Mk22, and SP/M1911A1 is for the M1911A1. When picked up, they come along with ammo.
Find Suppressors on the Field and from Looting Enemies
You can get suppressors from weapon caches scattered across the map or from enemies. To make enemies drop loot, you can either hold them up or pick up and release knocked-out enemies.

Suppressors Silence Gunshots
Suppressors are consumable items in MGS Delta that can muffle the sound of gunshots. They are vital for a stealth run, as they allow you to fire your weapon at close range without alerting enemies, which is a key requirement for earning certain titles.

Suppressors Lose Durability
A suppressor's durability decreases with each shot and can be checked using the SP bar on the Weapon Window or in your Backpack's weapons list. When a suppressor is completely depleted, it will break. Attach a new suppressor to maintain silenced fire.
Tip: Unequip suppressors during boss fights to save your supply, as alerts will not go off during these fights.

If you wish to prevent any weapon's suppressor from breaking, you can equip the Desert Tiger camo.

| A silent tranquilizer gun developed especially for FOX. The tranquilizer ammunition used is specifically designed for silent operation. Also equipped with an integral laser sight. Recovers stamina and keeps the Camo index high while equipped. | ||
Alternatively, you can use the EZ Gun if you want a weapon that has both unlimited suppressor and unlimited ammo. However, this weapon is only obtained by playing on Very Easy, earning a FOXHOUND rank, or capturing every plant and animal in a single playthrough.
