MGS - How to Get the Crocodile Cap
The Crocodile Cap is a disguise you can find in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater (MGS3 Remake). It provides a useful way to blend into the environment. This guide explains where to find the Crocodile Cap, how to get it and the effect it has once it's equipped.

Found in Chyornyj Prud

Chyornyj Prud Step 1
Upon arriving in Chyornyj Prud, head west until you hit the wall of the area. Then, follow the western wall and swim until you reach a fallen log that you can swim under.

Note: If your Stamina bar starts going down rapidly, it probably means you have a leech stuck to you. Open the Cure menu and use the Cigar to remove leeches.

MGS - Way to Crocodile Cap
Dive and swim under the log to reach an elevated area on the west edge of the map. Head north to trigger a call from EVA. After finishing the call, climb the nearby tree.

Complete the platforming segment that takes you to an isolated ledge at the north of the area. Here, you'll be able to get the Crocodile Cap.

When dropping down from the first rope, spam your interact button to avoid falling down and having to restart the climb.

The Crocodile Cap is located in Chyornyj Prud, the area after Rassvet. It will be on an elevated ledge that you have to platform to using overhanging ropes.

Disguises Snake in the Water

MGS - Crocodile Camouflage

When Snake equips the Crocodile Cap, his head will look like a crocodile snout while swimming, allowing him to use it as a disguise in water. This makes him harder to spot by enemies and wildlife like crocodiles, while also lessening the chances of guard dogs detecting him as they are less likely to detect or approach him.
