Drown Snake to Skip the Boss Fight

To skip the Sorrow boss fight, dive as soon as you spawn in the river. Then, wait for your O2 to run out and your HP to drain to 0. Upon dying, consume a Revival Pill to complete the boss fight and continue on to the next story mission.

The Sorrow Boss Fight Missables

Spirit Camo

Using this skip will cause you to miss the Spirit Camo, preventing you from achieving 100% camo completion for the A Snake Has Many Skins trophy.

Should You Skip the Boss Fight?

Can be Skipped if You Killed a Lot of Enemies

The entire section can turn into a slog real quick if you've been killing everyone on sight since you started the playthrough. If you don't want to deal with a super long walking sequence, just drown yourself and skip.
