MGS - How to Equip Weapons

Weapons are equipped via the weapon window in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater (MGS3 Remake). Read on to learn how to equip your weapons while playing as well as how to add them to your weapon wheel.

Add Them to the Weapon Window via the Backpack

MGS - Backpack Weapon Equip

After picking up a new weapon, head over to your Backpack via the Survival Viewer and go to the Weapons tab. From there, you can add any of the listed weapons to your Weapon Window by selecting it. If it has a check mark next to its name, it means it has been added.

You can only add a maximum of 8 weapons at a time to your weapon window, and the total weight of the weapons you're carrying will affect how fast your stamina drains while you explore.

Hold Down Right D-Pad

To use your weapon, press and hold the weapon select button to open the weapon window. Use your movement input (Left/Right Stick) to cycle through your available weapons. Stop at the one you want and Snake should bring it out automatically.
