How Do Saves Work?
Loading a Save Restarts at the Beginning of the Area
When you reload a save, whether manual or autosave, Snake will always start at the beginning of that area. Defeated enemies, and any loots or collectibles you acquired before saving will still be preserved. However, certain encounters or special sequences will reset your progress when you reload.
How to Save Your Game
Call Para-Medic to Manually Save

Manual saving is done by using the radio window and calling Para-Medic on frequency 140.96. From there, you can select the save option to record your progress.
Exit or Enter an Area to Autosave
Whenever Snake enters or exit an area, the game automatically saves your progress. This ensures you won't lose significant progress when moving between areas or story sections.
