Location: Dremuchij North How to Get: Hold up the first soldier you see (he should have a radio strapped to his chest) when you enter Dremuchij North. He'll drop the 8mm film reel, The Beginning is the End. |

 Gotcha This Time |
Location: Dolinovodno How to Get: Two guards will be patrolling the bridge. Use your SVD or Binoculars to zoom in and find the one that has a silver film container strapped to his chest. This is the one you want to hold up. He and his partner will separate once they get to the center of the bridge, allowing you to isolate them from one another. |

 Get Down |
Location: Bolshaya Past South How to Get: In the northern half of Bolshaya Past South, you'll encounter an electric fence with a gap in the middle guarded by 2 Soldiers. The solder on the west side of the gap will have the 8mm Film Reel. The best approach is to attack from behind. Knock out the east soldier before holding up the one with the Get Down! film. |

 Payback |
Location: Bolshaya Past Base How to Get: The one soldier guarding the entrance to the central building of the base will be holding the 8mm Film Reel. To hold him up, enter the building via the door to its east. Once inside, open the southern door of the building and you'll find yourself in perfect CQC range to hold the soldier with the film reel up. Pull it off and you'll get the Payback film. |

 Cat-Like Behavior |
Location: Ponizovje West How to Get: The soldier right next to the warehouse on the dock will be the one with the 8mm Film Reel. Once you've dealt with the other soldiers on the docks, use something like food or an empty magazine to get the soldier to turn around. From there, hold him up to get the Cat-Like Behavior film. |

 The Quick Version |
Location: Ponizovje Warehouse How to Get: The first time you enter the building, the soldier on the 3rd floor will have the 8mm Film Reel. Deal with the guards on the first floor then, wait until the 3rd floor soldier's back is turned before holding him up. He will drop the Quick Version film. |

 The Joy |
Location: Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior - Outside Walls How to Get: After passing the electric fence, loop over to the east side of the outer walls (deal with the 2 guards and dog along the way). Once there, you'll notice a door along the wall. Stick close to it then use the "Make Noise" option to knock. Take cover and wait until the soldier comes out. Hold him up to get The Joy film. |

Location: Svyatogornyj East How to Get: The guard inside the house to the northeast of the area will have the film. Enter the house using any of the entrances available then hold him up while his back is turned to get the Metal Gear S... film. |

 Diehard |
Location: Krasnogorje Mountain Base How to Get: The one RPG-wielding soldier along the eastern cliff face will be your film holder. Deal with the 2 guards nearby before placing a Book down at the base of his ledge overlook. This'll tempt the soldier to go down. Once he has his back turned, hold him up to get the Diehard film. |

 The Ultimate Weapon |
Location: Krasnogorje Mountaintop How to Get: After meeting with EVA in the ruins, Flame Troopers will start appearing in this area. The one located near the AA-gun to the west will be your film holder. Hold him up to get The Ultimate Weapon film. |

 Made in the U.S.A. |
Location: Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab - West Wing Corridor How to Get: In the West Wing Corridor, 2 sentries will be standing guard outside Sokolov's room. Knock out the one on the left as you enter. This'll distract the one on the right and give you enough time to close the distance and hold him up. He drops the Made in the U.S.A. film. WARNING: Don't approach the sentries while wearing the Officer uniform. This will progress the story, causing you to miss out on this film reel. |

 Basashi |
Location: Groznyj Grad Torture Room How to Get: You'll find the film holder inside the guard room. Knock out the guard in the hallway before holding up the guy inside the small room. If successful he'll drop the Basashi film. |
|
 Close Call |
Location: Groznyj Grad Northeast How to Get: This film reel only becomes available when you return to Groznyj Grad during the day. The soldier will be hard at work drilling a few recruits. First, knock out the guard in the nearby watchtower to lessen witnesses. Then, knock out the 3 trainees so they can act as a distraction. While the instructor investigates, sneak up on him and hold him up to get the Close Call film. |

 He's Still Got It |
Location: Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab - Main Wing How to Get: This film reel will be held by one of the guards in the northern section of the room (near the trucks). Since they're isolated, it should be as easy as getting close to them with the Maintenance uniform on, before quick-swapping to something else in order to pull out your gun for a hold up. If successful, he'll drop the He's Still Got It film reel. |

 Metal Gear Raiden: Snake Eraser |
Location: Zaozyorje East How to Get: This one is a bit tricky because the soldier won't cooperate if you do a normal hold up. Once his arms are raised, start shooting at the ground near his waist to frighten him. This'll cause him to drop the final 8mm Film Reel - Metal Gear Raiden: Snake Eraser. |

How to Obtain 8mm Film Reels
Hold Up Enemies
You can obtain 8mm Film Reels by holding up an enemy. This is done by approaching behind them until they are in CQC (Close Quarters Combat) range, pulling out a weapon on them, then moving towards their front and aiming at their vital points like their head. They will then shake off any items they have on them.
