How to Get Motion Detector

Unlocked by Default

The Motion Detector is unlocked by default in the game if you play on the Very Easy, Easy, or Normal difficulty. You can immediately equip it as soon as you retrieve your backpack during Virtuous Mission. If you're playing on Hard or Extreme, the Motion Detector will not be available.

MGS Delta Motion Detector UI

Equipping the Motion Detector lets you detect nearby movement, shown on your UI. It does not detect stationary objects, and only works on enemies and small animals. This equipment also consumes battery power on use.
