Return of the Living Apes is the sixth level of the Snake vs Monkey minigame in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater (MGS3 Remake). Read on to see all Monkey and Astro Bot locations in this level, including tips for completing it.

Astro Bot Location
Behind a Truck With a Group of Monkeys
Astro Bot is located in the northern area of the map. He is standing behind a truck along with a group of monkeys.
Do note that Astro Bot does not count towards the level's required number of monkeys. You can skip it in the interest of time, especially if you're gunning for a high score.
Return of the Living Apes Completion Tips
Shoot the Monkeys on Top of the Ape Mech From the West Side
There are two monkeys on top of the Ape Mech that you need to shoot from the west side, since they will fall down in that direction.
Walking in Front of the Ape Mech Triggers the Alarm
Be careful when walking in front of the Ape Mech, as it will trigger the alarm and cause all the monkeys to scatter.
Shoot the Monkey on the East Ledge and Wait
The monkey on the east ledge is tricky because it won’t fall when shot. Shoot it and wait for it to recover, and it will climb down to attack you, allowing you to shoot it again and capture it.
Shoot the Monkeys on the Steel Beam When They Are Close Together
There are two monkeys on the steel beam in the northern area of the map. One is sitting near the ledge, while the other is walking along the beam. Wait for them to be close together, then shoot them to make them fall and capture them in the same area.
