How to Make Ale For Tavern Supply

Harvest Barley to Make Malt, Then Convert It to Ale

The Tavern only distributes Ale, so you need to supply the tavern with Ale for it to work. Making Ale takes several steps. You will need to first harvest Barley from your established Fields so they can be stored in your Farmhouse. You will then need to have them delivered to a Malthouse so you can convert the Barley into Malt.

From there, you will need to construct a Brewery Extension on your Level 2 Burgage Plots so you can convert your stock of Malt into Ale.

How to Make Ale (Step-by-Step)

Generate a Consistent Supply of Ale to Prevent Lack of Entertainment

You will need to have a consistent supply of Ale for your Tavern in order to prevent Lack of Entertainment in your settlement.

An alternative to generating your supply of Ale from your settlement is to import Ale from your Trading Post. This method could help remedy situations where you currently have a low supply of Ale.

If lack of entertainment remains an issue in your settlement, you could lose your tavern as an amenity requirement for your Burgage Plots and suffer the decline of your Approval rating.

One of the amenity requirements for Level 3 Burgage Plots is Tavern Supply, which meets the Entertainment requirement. To upgrade the burgage plots, construct a functioning Tavern in your settlement and provide a steady supply of Ale.
