What Does HP Do?
Health of Each Character
HP, or Health Points, indicate a character's health, determining the amount of damage they can take in battle before dying.
Once a character's HP drops to zero, they will be unable to participate in combat until the next battle or until they are revived.
How to Increase HP
Level Up
Character HP automatically increases as your characters Level Up.
Defeat enemies in combat and obtain EXP to level up your characters and further increase their stats!

Use Seed of Life
Using a Seed of Life will also increase a character's base HP, allowing you to increase a character's HP stat without requiring you to Level them up.
Using Seeds, however, adjusts the base stat gain on Level up, reducing the amount of base HP your character gains per level up if their HP is already too high from seeds.
When and Who Should Use Seeds?
Vocation Stat Change
Depending on your character's Vocation, they can also receive additional HP, raising it by a certain percentage.
Keep in mind, however that some Vocations decrease HP such as the Mage Vocation.
How to Heal
Rest at an Inn
Resting at an Inn recovers both HP and MP for your entire party.
Finding and Resting at an Inn is the easiest way to restore HP, as Inns are available in most towns.
Use Healing Spells
Healing Spells, such as Heal allow you to restore HP during combat.
The effectiveness of the heal depends on the caster's Magical Mending making some characters be more efficient healers than others.
Use Healing Items and Equipment
Healing Items, such as Medicinal Herb can also be used during combat to restore some HP. Some Equipment also provide additional HP, with some even providing regeneration or lifesteal.
Healing Items can be obtained through various means, either as drops from enemies, loot from chests, found in Sparkly Spots, or even by simply purchasing them from shops.
