When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Duo Elincia are +Spd and -Def. Elincia's base 49 Spd, raised to 53 with a superboon, is among the fastest in the game. She will need the Spd investment in order to maintain her Spd edge against all the fast metagame foes as well as ensuring that she can quad attack most of her foes.
Def is Elincia's least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane as it won't impact any of her matchups. -Res is also an option if you anticipate Elincia taking more physical attacks from foes.

Duo Elincia's base kit functions well for a typical fast Sword Infantry unit. With her multiple damage reduction sources on her kit, she appreciates having another one in the form of Archrival.

Duo Elincia is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Duo Elincia's exclusive weapon Bonded Blades has built-in Atk+3 and a brave effect, allowing her to dish out damage quickly and burst down her foes.
More importantly, Bonded Blades disables both Elincia's and her foe's Specials, preventing them from triggering. Lucia brings her unique effect to this Duo Hero, turning Duo Elincia into one of the best attackers in the game.
Bonded Blades also grants Atk/Spd+6, 【Empathy】, and 【Dodge】 to Elincia and all allies within 3 spaces at the start of both player and enemy phase, granting powerful support that excels both offensively and defensively.
In combat, Bonded Blades grants Elincia up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14 based on number of allies within 3 rows and 3 columns, up to +25 bonus true damage and up to +15 bonus true damage reduction based on Bonuses and Penalties.
The bulk of the power budget of Bonded Blades lies in its ability to shut down Specials. This effect is valuable in the current metagame as most units rely on their Specials to deal significant damage.
Duo Elincia's exclusive C skill Ties of Crimea allows nearby allies to warp to spaces near her, granting easy mobility that can be used offensively to launch surprise attacks at enemies.
Ties of Crimea also neutralizes stat penalties and cleanses off two 【Penalty】 effects for Elincia and allies within 3 spaces after the foe's start-of-turn skills trigger. 【Penalty】 cleansing is a key factor in teambuilding as most modern units have built-in 【Penalty】 effects that spread throughout multiple foes.
In combat, Ties of Crimea grants Duo Elincia Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, +7 true damage and true damage reduction, a Null Follow-Up effect, a 50% damage reduction piercing effect, and 7 HP healing for each attack.
Ties of Crimea is a fantastic skill that grants everything important all in one skill: mobility, support, offense, and defense.
While Duo Elincia has effects that are unique to her and set her apart from other Sword Infantry units, she is still another fast Sword Infantry unit.
FEH has plenty of options for that exact archetype, making it quite difficult to find room for Duo Elincia on your teams.
