    I've never used a cavalry with high defense except emblem Sigurd, but i knew he had more flat DR than other units (25% instead of 20) & i figured with momentum + a good special could make him offensive, but also survive if attacked. The haze slice is what ruins it for me, cuz u wasn't planning in getting that row of manuals until last (if i can afford it), & I'm not sacrificing my 1 Valentine's Dimitri. Oh well, if someone else comes along w haze slice, & i can get another copy, i will reconsidr

    what's crazy is this said the message was left 1 month ago, & i checked back yesterday before i left a message on fafnir's profile page, & it didn't show me there was a response. 🤔 I wonder if the page cache affects this? Often, the "latest banner" shown at the top will be there for a month or more, with 2 or 3 events passing, so that seems to be an issue, too. It finally updated yesterday, but had the one with alm for a while, then the one with tiki was up there until yesterday, IIRC.

    very helpful, thanks. Maybe i will wait & see if there's newer higher BST units. All tne recently released units are 188 to 190, & i have a seteth on one of my teams, that's like 178 or something low & i still get arena crowns on those weeks (but marni is on that team). I know I want Xane on my wind squad, & i have a 2nd seteth at +8, but i can't use him unless we get another beefy unit before I decide on my 3rd uni (i always have the legendary bonus, but no merges).

    Cavalry units also score lower in Arena due to their lower BST. But if you insist, try using Emblem Sigurd's kit (Atk/Def Excel, Momentum, Fatal Smoke) on Young Xander, except with Haze Slice for the Special. This build is expensive though, requiring both Emblem Sigurd and Valentine's Dimitri fodder.

    We don't think he's worth building with high/max investment simply due to his status as a defensive cavalry unit. Cavalry units excel in offensive roles. For tanks, you'd ideally be using high Spd infantry units or just armored units in general.

    Darn, i was hoping for a better build suggestion. He has a prf, & seems he could be useful in arena. I need a red unit for my 3rd +10 arena team, but not sure if i should wait...🤔
