The best IVs for Nyna are +Spd and -Def.

Her Spd is quite high for a staff unit at base 41, and boosting it improves her defensively by negating follow-up attacks from fast units.

Her Def is abysmal and will not affect any of her matchups upon taking it as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 merge

Nyna is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he/she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Nyna's Respite+ grants Def/Res+2 and a Guard effect to nearby allies, even when she is not in combat.

This weapon is perfect for support healers by enhancing the combat prowess of allies and still retaining the ability to heal them when necessary.

Lack of Unique Skills

Being the demote unit on a banner brings the value of Nyna down with the lack of an exclusive skill to call her own.
