Legendary Byleth (M) has his Special charge at 1 at the start of the map, but due to the effects of Time's Pulse 3, he will have it up the moment the enemy phase begins.
If he initiates combat, your unit will be taking a lot of damage, so be sure to defeat him during the player phase!
Fortunately, he doesn't actively move until the 3rd turn as long as there are no units within his danger zone.
Units that use Vantage 3 to their advantage will be ineffective in this map, as Legendary Byleth has the Hardy Bearing 3 seal, which means that he will still be able to attack first when he initiates combat.
Using a bulky unit that has a Distant Counter weapon or skill will be helpful in clearing out several of the units and reinforcements in the map.
Be careful, however, depending on the unit you use.
The Blue Flier has Watersweep 3, which prevents units with magic, staff or dragonstone from counterattacking, while the Sword Fighter has Windsweep 3, which prevents units with sword, lance, axe, bow or dagger from counterattacking.
Also keep this unit away from Legendary Byleth, as they will be likely be one-shot!
Some of the units in this map have skills such as A/D Far Trace or A/D Near Trace, which enables them to move again after combat.
Keep this in mind as that means these units can reposition away if they are not defeated by your units.
