Edelgard: Flame Emperor Strategy

Careful of Edelgard's Skills!

Legendary Edelgard can move +1 space when she's not adjacent to an enemy and will be able to attack again after combat due to the effects of Raging Storm.

Her Special is also up at Turn 1, so your units will potentially be one-shot when she gets the opportunity to attack.

Predict her range and adjust your team accordingly!

Use Effective Skills and Triangle Adept

You can use a unit that has Armorsmasher+ in order to defeat Legendary Edelgard.

Paired with Triangle Adept 3 for more firepower, it's possible to defeat her in one go.

Divide and Conquer With These Skills

Wings of Mercy 3

Escape Route 3

Enemy units will come from the left and right sides of the map, you can divide your own team to take care of each side.

To make it easier for your team to cover each other, you can give them warp skills like Wings of Mercy 3 or Escape Route 3.

This is especially effective if one of the units that has one of these is a dancer.

Caineghis	Colorless Armored Beast Can make a guaranteed follow-up attack Nullifies buffs from ranged units.
Brave Edelgard	Axe Armored Reduces damage. High stats and firepower.
New Year Alfonse	Blue Infantry Tome Prevents follow-up attacks. Special can be triggered quite quickly.
