+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Serra are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Serra to defend herself from more follow-up attacks. She may find herself in situations that require her to attack foes because of Absorb+ so a +Spd IV would be very useful for some follow-up attacks. She can take some points of Res as it is pretty high compared to Def so this is the best bane she can take.

Serra is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Serra Strengths

Chip health off enemies while simultaneously healing allies!

Absorb+ restores 50% of the damage dealt by unit to itself. It also restores 7 HP to allies within 2 spaces of unit. Absorb+ makes its wielder great in providing sustain for the whole team. This makes it a good idea to inherit Wrathful Staff 3 onto Absorb+ users.

Absorb+ is one of the best staves to use in Temprest Trials+ as it provides damage, self-heals and team heals all in one stroke!

Can heal allies with Recover+

Recover+ is a straightforward skill that restores an ally's health whose value is equivalent to 50% of their Atk +10. It does not rely on complex conditions for its heal value so you will be always be able to heal a fair amount.

Low Def

Serra has very low Def. This makes her susceptible to physical attacks. Please be mindful when using Absorb+ against enemy units that can counterattack her. If you prefer, you can inherit Dazzling Staff 3 onto her but for our builds, we prefer to build Serra around Wrathful Staff 3.
