How to Farm Renown
Farm Auxiliary Quests
Repeatedly doing auxiliary battles is the best renown farming method in Unicorn Overlord. To unlock Auxiliary Quests, you must first recruit Selvie to help you activate them!
Auxiliary Quests are repeatable and is recommended for farming not only Renown Points, but also War Funds, Military Treatise for boosting levels, and EXP.
Set the Difficulty to Story
Before tackling an Auxiliary Quest, remember to set your game difficulty to Story for faster farming. Doing this also makes encounters a lot easier and faster to skip!

How to Efficiently Farm Renown
- We suggest to unlock The Sigil's Trial, Expert 2 Auxiliary Quest near Fort Foxwell for the fastest Renown farming method.
- Deploy only one unit during the Stage Battle, and make sure to know the best Unit formation to effectively farm Auxiliary Stages. We suggest picking Fran as the leader to fly over Watchtowers and head straight to capture the enemy base.
- Deploy Fran's Unit then cast her Valor Skill, Hastened Call to gain movement speed.
- Select Move then select the Enemy Command Post, fast forward, and watch Fran hover over enemies.
- Check if you can win after a single encounter, then skip the battle to win and get the rewards.
Why Raise Renown?
Raise Renown Rank to Expand Units
Go to a Fort or City with Enlistment to expand units. The higher your Renown Rank is, the more units you can expand and more unit slots you can unlock!
Aim to unlock all unit slots and expand them by raising Renown Ranks and spending Honors.
List of Rewards per Unit Expansion

| A - S | 200 Honors | 4 - 5 Units |
Here's the list of rewards per unit expansion along with their required Renown Ranks, expansion costs, and the amount of units added as you expand per rank!
Raise Renown Rank to Unlock Promotion
Reach Renown Rank B to unlock promotion and promote units to their advanced classes at Forts and Cities!
Promoting a unit to their advanced class guarantees a higher success rate at winning in Battle Stages, so make sure to farm for Honor and spend them on promoting units and unlocking all Unit Slots.
